You scream, I scream, we all scream for . . . .chi-vi-straw!!

Hello crafty friends,
Chi-vi-straw you ask? Well, I grew up in a little town in Minnesota and we didn’t have access to many different flavors of ice cream at the local grocery store. One of the “fancy” choices was Neapolitan ice cream, or as we liked to call it, chi-vi-straw (translation: chocolate, vanilla, strawberry).
To honor that fond memory, I decided this sweet little hedgie from the latest GSD digital stamp “Hedgehog With Ice Cream-Printable Greeting Card To Color” needed to have some chi-vi-straw. And as you can see, he’s going to have to eat it fast, because it’s MELTING!!
To make the ice cream drips, I used a paint splat stencil, then went back and outlined it in black and applied glossy accents to the whole thing. I colored hedgie and the drips with copic markers using the following colormap:
Hedgie’s tummy: E50, E51, W1
Hedgie’s spikes: E41, E42, E43, E44
Ice creams: E59, E27, E13, BV00, E50, RV13, RV21
Cone: E25, E23, E21
